Feb 6 Meeting Notes

We held a meeting Feb 6 2024 to discuss our plans for this year. Our chief objectives are:

• Assist and field community support for a formal dog run. We hope to see that Councilmember Sandy Nurse’s earmarked funds for a dog run can be applied this fiscal year through a the Community Board voting process. To that end we are launching a digital petition form to be submitted to CB4

• Continue monthly clean ups

• Assist and co-host multiple events with the support of CB4, Sandy Nurse and District 37 staff, Riseboro, and community partners

• Continue to work with NYParks and Partnership for Parks on the maintenance and upkeep of the park, including reseeding the grass area and tending to trees and flower beds
